this is the round up video from my early morning hunt video that I think was cut as video was too long.
Back on my permission this morning, finally. Its been raining here non stop for the last 6 days. I try to find some deep signals out in the wet. We'll catch a little birds and the bees and the lady bugs in action...and I come away with my kids allowance.
This old road was built around a century ago to allow access to a new harbour on the river. Over a couple of days I explore the road, the verges and the adjacent riverbank. There were some surprising finds.
After 2 days of good weather and some hours of daylight after dinner I decided to go on a short early season beach hunt. Found a couple of coins in a small coin spill and a toy car. Ill be out again next week!

Finally got to meet with some really great , knowledgeable guys for a hunt on one of their permission.
Unfortunately I'm an idiot, I was about 5 hours late and then got rained off and I wasn't up for sticking a camera in anyones face so the actual detecting in this video is minimal but I had a good time, met some good guys and next video I'll be on time, will prepare for the rain AND do a run down of all our finds.
It was a great day and lovely to meet some new people that know their stuff. Cheers for the permission Greenock Detector!
A spring hunt on newly ploughed field in Dorset.
Came across this chunk of iron about 1 1/2' down could be a pipe, but I am not aware of any pipes running there nor would it make any sense for drainage in that direction.
the last time I dug deep iron I unearthed a childs pedal car from around the 20's, you can check that out here guesses on what it is ? Think there is anything inside of it ?
Probably junk but I will dig it .....

This is a video made in 2 times.
We lost 90% of the footage we wanted to use for this video. We had to do it all over again except the intro at the bridge and bunker.
With 40 degrees celcius the camera kept overheating. Digging was no real option so we did what we could and went a couple of extra miles to show some extra locations.
We hope the info is usefull.
Make sure it is legal if you want to dig somewhere.
Do not trespass
Make sure you have a permission if you need it.
We strongly advise you not to mess with live ammo, and do not take it home!

I had a amazing hunt today 100 degree heat but lasted about 2 hours. I dug an awesome hair clip or tie clip with the familys initial on the clip. Also a turquoise silver ring. Some awesome relics as well.
It happened again! Something told me to check a certain area of an unknown forest. Despite a great first target, I moved forward and finally reached my destination point. I had the impression that this area was already hunted (the usual picture like a big hole and rusty iron item lying next to it). But a fores is hard to hunt and targets can be easy overlooked. The Roman coin surprised me very much. The Celtic silver coin shocked me. I hunted around it, but couldn't find any connection to other (similar) items.
It was a great hunt, my longest so far.
