Although I didn't find any treasures, it is always great to get out and about. The beach has been very picked over, however, as you can see, there are a lot of people there everyday.

Join me as I try out a new Minelab CTX 3030 metal detector for the very first time. Though I did not have the detector set up properly as it was my first hunt, I still manage to find some Civil War relics. Plus I see and swim with a large school of catfish with a few bass and pickerel mixed in. Many thanks to Minelab for letting me check out the detector.
