Using my metal detector, I found a 112 year old silver coin along side an old road! You just never know what you're going to find. Which is why I love this hobby. :)

It happened again! Something told me to check a certain area of an unknown forest. Despite a great first target, I moved forward and finally reached my destination point. I had the impression that this area was already hunted (the usual picture like a big hole and rusty iron item lying next to it). But a fores is hard to hunt and targets can be easy overlooked. The Roman coin surprised me very much. The Celtic silver coin shocked me. I hunted around it, but couldn't find any connection to other (similar) items.
It was a great hunt, my longest so far.
