Metal Detecting an Old Farm - Found Huge Silver and lots of coins!
I recently had the privilege to go metal detecting on a farm that dates back to the late 1800's. On this adventure, I searched around the yard of the farm house and managed to dig up some incredible coins. One of them was an 1871 German States Prussia Thaler Coin, which I gave to the family of the farm. I also found several Kennedy Half dollars, a heart shaped locket, 1950's silver dime and lots of other interesting artifacts. Thank You for watching and God bless!

Metal detecting an 1850s home brings in a 1857 seated liberty quarter out of the yard. My metal detector was struggling so I sent it in for repairs . Then the batteries died just as I was getting the silver. This treasure hunt in Palmyra NY will have to be continued when I get the XP Deus back... Man I love metal detecting

A Day in the LIfe # 136 About those Plates.
It was a rainy Day in the Life, and so I thought I would give an update on the finds my father and I made the other day. While we did in fact find a pile of plates, they were not quite what we had initially thought them to be. It is my hope that this video might help keep someone else from making the same assumption. We really wanted to believe that they might end up being belt plates, knowing the truth about this part of history is far more important. Here is to the next pile of plates, may they be what we are looking for!!
