This Day in the Life finds me off metal detecting the site of a large Civil War encampment with dad. We were both able to recover a few artifacts from the American Civil War, to meet a new friend and to log another great day of adventure together. King William III Copper Farthing Dated 1700 found metal detecting East Hampton CT 11/19/2016
My honey hole field gave up 2 gold and 2 silver and one Copper Farthing in the last 4 weeks. How did that 1700 farthing get there? This hobby continues to get better every day I do it. Good Luck and Happy Hunting. The farthing was 9 inches down.

Lots of Coins! Metal detecting Neighborhood Park
I hope you all had a fun Thanksgiving! My uncle and I went to a neighborhood park ( the one when I found my first ring and 15 coins) for about an hour, and I broke my new personal coin record in one hunt! 38 coins today! $2.60! Looked mostly around the grass near the benches and sidewalks, play ground a little, volley ball court, and by the car parking lot a little. My uncle also found a penny right on the surface! And I found a coin spill of 7 coins! I also found some other cool things too! Had a great time today and I hope you enjoy this video! Thanks! - Treasure Tracker

Ti vs metal detector
Showing that Ti will show up on a metal detector, this is due to the relative motion of the spork to the detectors electromagnetic field, which induces electrical currents in the Ti. Those electrical currents produce their own field which is picked up by the second coil.

Randy from:'Lost Jewelry Recovery" metal detecting service, was detecting the festival site at Bird's Hill Park Mb, and his Minelab X-Terra 705 detector received a signal indicating a "gold" target. Sure enough 4 inches down into the ground was a 10k gold wedding band.
